Bio
A native of suburban Atlanta, guitarist and producer Craig McClellan is naturally skilled in the field of music.
Though a skilled saxophone player throughout high school, Craig’s true calling was discovered at age 15 when he picked up a guitar. After just three years of playing, he was accepted to Belmont University’s prestigious music program as a guitar major.
Belmont’s Nashville location and resources gave Craig hands-on experience in studio recording and technology, which sparked his passion for music production.
After four years of studying styles and technique under nationally recognized faculty, Craig earned a degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Music Technology.
Since his graduation in May 2009, Craig has gained valuable experience in the fields of production, performance and songwriting.
He has worked on several projects, including playing guitar and programming 8 tracks on Dana Jorgensen’s 2011 record, “Everything to Beautiful,” including standouts like “Goodbye” and “Let Me Be the One.” He is currently producing a 5-song EP for local singer/songwriter Sarah McCary.
Craig also recently won a remix contest for Grammy-nominated band Hanson, the prize of which will be the release of his mix on the band’s UK release of their single, “Give a Little,” in May 2011.
Having added songwriting to his list of growing skills, Craig recently co-wrote the track “God, I’m Coming” featured on the debut album “UpsideDown” from WatersEdge, protégé of FFH frontman Jeromy Diebler.
Craig tours with artists such as Carl Cartee and Dana Jorgensen and plays live in the Nashville area with many more. He has also served regularly on the worship team at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, TN for 3 years.
Craig is available for live performances, production, demo and live track composition, and studio recording. For booking or more information, contact Craig McClellan at mcclellanc@me.com.
