Keeping with the theme of things that make me happy, this is one of the funniest moments in tv history. It popped up on YouTube for me today, and I’ve watched again multiple times.
My last 2 posts have been negative, so here’s something that brings me joy. This song is 🔥, and the guitar solo in this version (3:33) is everything I love about John’s playing.
This review has me very tempted. Buying one would help me with my goal to read more books this year, right?
I know this may not ever happen, but it really would be nice to be able to pay a flat fee to get some of these games to own forever outside the subscription.
I would do this in a heartbeat.
But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.
So thankful to finally see evangelical institutions beginning to take a stand. It should have happened a long time ago, and more should be doing it. But this is a good thing.
One of my best friends has been working tirelessly on this game for almost 2 years. I’ve play tested it several times, and it’s fun. Really fun. If you enjoy table-top games, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the kickstarter.
I always thought my parents were weird for thinking the music they listened to in college was better than current pop. Watching this, I now believe music from 2009 (when I graduated college) was so much better than today.
Also DJ Earworm is a genius.
Other than knowing it’s still a ways off from being ready for prime time, I knew very little about 5G. As with everything Marques does, this video was great.
Please be true. Please be true. Please be true. Please be true. Please be true. Please be true.
A collection is ultimately just a list of locations, so it can serve any purpose you need it to. You can use collections to plan upcoming vacations, keeping track of all the places you want to visit on your trip; you can also have collections dedicated to intriguing coffee shops, prospective date night spots, or restaurants that have been recommended to you. Every collection can have a name and even custom photo set by you, so you can truly make it your own.
I don’t know how I missed an introduction to this feature with iOS 13, but it sounds fantastic. I can’t wait to try it out. It might be about time to add the beta to my phone too.
Soule’s Vader series was incredible. I can’t wait for this!
I know this article is designed to put a doom and gloom spin on Apple after Jony’s departure, but it honestly made me glad he’s gone and excited for what’s to come. I may be an eternal optimist, especially with Apple, but the Apple products I have now (while imperfect) are some of my favorite I’ve ever had. I’m incredibly excited about the future of Apple’s platforms.
I didn’t write a list this year, but if I had, it would look like Peter’s.
I finished the first season of this podcast a few days ago, and I really liked it. Dystopian Sci-fi in a podcast with Rami Malek? Yes please.
Fiery Feeds has been my primary RSS Reeder for awhile now, and this update is awesome.
Guilherme Rambo has been on fire this week, but definitely saved the best for last.
Man this is good for an Enneagram 3 to read. Or just a human to read.
Taking a photo of this black hole is like taking a photo of a quarter in Los Angeles all the way from Washington, DC. To see such a small object, researchers needed a telescope the size of the Earth.
I’m not super into space, but the details of how they pulled this off have had me enthralled all day. It’s truly amazing.
I’m sure Dr. Joseph hasn’t cleared out his office, but for all intents and purposes we are in director search mode. The group responsible for that search is the severely splintered school board. Sadly, the community surrounding the board is equally fractured. Some jumping for joy over the ouster, while others have lost faith that the board will do what they were elected to do.
While I am one who is relieved by a change in leadership for our schools, I’m also profoundly aware of what this city I love has lost in the process. I pray for unity, racial reconciliation, and support for strong public education moving forward in Nashville.
I love that this show will end on its own terms, but good gracious, I never want it to go.
The 6-year-old Craig who saw “Free Willy” and became obsessed with whales is freaking out right now.
I had no idea about these shortcuts. It’s always been one of my frustrations with Bear. This is super helpful.
However, I find myself wondering exactly how they’re going to fill a six episode limited series about Obi-Wan Kenobi. If the original idea for the spin-off was only going to be a single movie, then they’ll have to pad it out for six episodes. Even if those episodes are only 45 minutes each instead of a full hour, that’s still four and a half hours of story to fill.
I’m even more excited for the potential of this than an Obi-Wan movie. Unlike this writer, I feel like there is plenty of story that could be told during this time and having the ability to flesh it out in 6 episodes sounds fantastic.
I was already excited about this show with David Tennant and Michael Sheen. This just puts it over the top.
All editing for @theclassnerd is done in Ferrite, and @robbyburns takes you through just a bit of that process. Personally, when I’m editing, I rely even more on gestures and the pencil and never touch a keyboard.
Really excited to have this app on iOS. I’m already using it to debug a script I’m writing in Drafts to work with Micro.blog’s new categories feature.
Apple Music needs to add this ASAP so I can keep Frozen out of My Favorites Mix.
The iPad isn’t for everyone. Depending on your needs, it may not be the best tool for you. But there’s no denying that it can be a successful Mac alternative for some – myself included.
An iPad Pro has been my primary computer for over three years, and the device has continually grown more capable during that time. There are still some things a Mac does better, but the iPad’s trade offs are worth it for me. The more time you spend with the device, the more you may learn its weaknesses, but the same is true of its strengths.
Great thoughts from Ryan Christoffel on how to get started with the iPad as your primary computing device. I’ve also been on this train over 3 years, and I don’t plan on getting off any time soon.
