Field Day this morning. Every year I’m amazed at how much fun our PE teachers make it. But now to sleep forever.
As an awkward kid, I found escape and friends in a book series about teenagers who fight aliens by turning into animals. The series, “Animorphs”, had over 50 books, and I read every one.
Every month, my dad would take me to the local bookstore to buy the latest one. It was an event for me.
Today I got to meet the author, Katherine Applegate. I was a bit of a nerdy fanboy, but I was in awe of meeting someone who was such a big part of my childhood. She was kind, and her presentation to our students was amazing. I can’t wait to read more of her recent books.
I’ve seen Sean McConnell in concert at least half a dozen times since 2006. He only gets better. So good to get out and see him again tonight.
My children found out yesterday was Beckett’s (approximate) birthday, and insisted we have a party with cupcakes for him. This poor 7-year-old was not amused. 😂

I’ve just moved everything out of Bear and Agenda, and back into Apple Notes. I’m not sure if I’m a genius or insane, but we’ll see how this goes.

Thad Cockrell’s “To Be Loved” record is in my top 5 favorite albums of all time. So excited to see new solo music from him.
Just like you can share reminders via iCloud, I want Apple to allow shared timers via iCloud so when my wife tells my kids they have three minutes to do something, I can automatically see that too.
