Wasn’t planning on updating my work Mac to Catalina until 10.15.1, but macOS just put a badge on my settings app that won’t go away until I update. I may have to cave just to get rid of it.

What started as a micro-post on my return to the Mac (from being iOS only) for my new job, is turning into one of the lengthier things I’ve written in awhile. I’m hoping to have it, along with an update to my Tools of Choice page, up in the next week.
I’ve set my micro.blog hosted blog to adapt to iOS’s Dark Mode, but my bold text is staying black. Anyone have suggestions of what CSS I should add to change this?
5-year-old is is home sick from school today, so we downloaded What The Golf on the Apple TV, and she is crushing it. As a family who doesn’t have a gaming console, Apple Arcade could be a really cool thing for the occasional, casual game.

Really hoping iOS 13.3.1 means there’s a watchOS 6.0.1 not far behind. My series 3 has been almost unusable since I updated. Far worse than iOS 13 ever was in beta. I’m not someone who usually complains about Apple software. I try to stay positive, but this release cycle is just bad.
Just set up my Theme System Journal from @iMyke and CGP Grey. Here’s hoping that in a season of huge change for my family, I can use this to help claim “The Year of Peace.”

Sayonara Wild Hearts lives up to the hype. Definitely my favorite Apple Arcade game I’ve played so far.
Whoever at Apple decided to reverse the stop and repeat buttons in the watchOS 6 timer app is not my friend.
This is really optimistic for someone with a new job and 3 kids, but I can’t wait to try these Apple Arcade games.

One of my best friends has been working tirelessly on this game for almost 2 years. I’ve play tested it several times, and it’s fun. Really fun. If you enjoy table-top games, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the kickstarter.

Looks like we will get 13.1 on the public beta track.
I’m curious if the 13.1 update will come to the Public Beta or just be a developer track. I guess we’ll find out soon.
