I always thought my parents were weird for thinking the music they listened to in college was better than current pop. Watching this, I now believe music from 2009 (when I graduated college) was so much better than today.

It’s time to share some bittersweet news.
I will not be returning to the classroom after my paternity leave. I have taken a position with CatchOn where I will be helping schools and districts with their technology implementations. While I’m sad to say goodbye to teaching, and to my school in particular, I am excited about my new role and the freedom it will give me to be there for my family.

The Downloads Manager in Safari on iPadOS 13 is 100% worth all the other bugs I’m dealing with.
Photos on my phone just suggested a memory called “Best of the Last 3 Weeks”. I opened it to see pictures from days before Sam was born through now and was shocked that it’s only been 3 (almost 4) weeks. It feels like a lifetime has passed in that time and also no time at all.
Almost an hour ago, at approximately 2:52am, I was awakened by the sound of the Kidz Bop version of Old Town Road blaring from our kitchen HomePod. The trauma of this experience has not allowed me to go back to sleep.

A collection is ultimately just a list of locations, so it can serve any purpose you need it to. You can use collections to plan upcoming vacations, keeping track of all the places you want to visit on your trip; you can also have collections dedicated to intriguing coffee shops, prospective date night spots, or restaurants that have been recommended to you. Every collection can have a name and even custom photo set by you, so you can truly make it your own.
I don’t know how I missed an introduction to this feature with iOS 13, but it sounds fantastic. I can’t wait to try it out. It might be about time to add the beta to my phone too.
Just discovered this gem in iPadOS 13. When logging onto public WiFi that requires you to visit a website (like Starbucks), the site doesn’t take up your full screen anymore.
How this band manages to put out such consistently fantastic pop/rock music, I don’t know. They are easily one of my favorite bands out there right now.
In my first full day of using iPadOS 13, I’ve filed 3 bug reports. There are more that I want to file, but I haven’t determined exactly how to replicate the issues yet. There are no show-stopping bugs for me, but it’s still super annoying in many places.

We just did our first outing as a family of five: a 10 minute trip to a local farmers market. Twice, complete strangers stopped us to say “You’ve got your hands full there!” 😂😭
